The quantity that can be sold right now. This is the most commonly referenced number and what your customers see on your storefront. Available = On Hand - Committed - Reserved - Safety StockOn Hand
The total physical quantity at a location, regardless of commitments. This is the actual number of units sitting on your shelves.Committed
Quantity reserved for orders that have been placed but not yet fulfilled. When a customer completes checkout, their items move from “available” to “committed.”Incoming
Quantity expected to arrive at a location from incoming transfers or purchase orders. This stock hasn’t physically arrived yet but is in transit.Reserved
Quantity held for non-order purposes — for example, items reserved for draft orders, exchanges, or internal holds.Safety Stock
A buffer quantity that you’ve designated to keep as a minimum. Safety stock is subtracted from available quantity to prevent selling your absolute last units.Stockful tracks all these quantity types when you enable them in Tracking Settings. By default, only “available” is tracked.
